The Violette Dorange collection by 727 Sailbags is crafted from 100% recycled technical sail. Designed with our stylists in our workshop in Lorient, France, this range is inspired by the black sails of Hubert, Violette’s 60-foot Imoca sailboat, with which she will participate in the next Vendée Globe race. In support of Violette Dorange’s “DeVenir” project, part of the profits from the sales of these products is donated to the Fondation des Apprentis d’Auteuil.
In May 2024, Violette Dorange will once again set off to conquer the Atlantic and take the start of the New York Vendée – Sables d’Olonne race aboard her imoca DeVenir. In search of fundings for her participation in the Vendée Globe race, she will be on the starting line of the solo round the world race on November 10.
